Whoniverse Photoshoot 8

Have Tardis will travel . . . that was the name on everyone's business card today. Well, okay, perhaps they did not have a business card. They did have the desire. The desire to brave the Chicago weather for some Doctor Who cosplay fun.

The Order of The Blue Box arranged the event.  This years photo shoot was at Montrose Point Beach. The morning started chilly and windy. A few people at first, and as the top of the day approached, it warmed up, and more people arrived. It was fun to play with everyone. I did not know anybody. I believe I had seen some of them at Chicago Tardis.

Everyone was inviting, whether to share their lunch or to take a photograph. I went because I have been watching Doctor Who since 1978, and have been attending Doctor Who cons in Chicago since 1989. Being my new venture is photography, this event was a perfect fit.

Here are some photos for all to enjoy . . .

Sad to say, The Master used his tissue compression eliminator on the Tardis, as seen in the next photo. (Okay, tissue, however since the Tardis can change into a girl, all is fair in Timelord Wars.)

The next set of photos are cool. I had a different pose each photo, not by asking, and I believe they were unaware of what they just did.

The original series The Master has always been my favorite character. I will have to start kitting up for the next cosplay . . .

Time warp . . . look for the vid at the end of this blog!!!!!  I think this gang of rebel The Order of The Blue Box needs to do this at Chicago Tardis 2013 . . .

Ah, The Master, commanding whatever he can . . .

Fellow Time Lords, taking a time out from not playing well together . . .

Thank you to everyone for allowing me to come out and play today. It was fun!!!! Hope to see everyone soon . . . have Tardis Will Travel . . .

For you Doctor Who fans who have not seen my other posts . . .

Live Art - Studio 659

This was a cool event. Instead of having an opening for artist's already completed work, the opening was for "live art" . . . the artists creating the art in front of us. It was great to see the different styles and ages at work.

Here are some photos of the opening . . .

It was a good turn out. It was different. It was fun. I am glad I was able to capture it digitally for you.

Another trip to The Carlson Oxbow Nature Park - Hammond, IN

Just a couple photos early morning.  I will be going back for more tomorrow morning and adding to this blog.

Which one is the real picture? Top or bottom?????

Here is some time lapse photography from this morning too. I do not have it down yet, to get a good conversion from Quicktime to MP4, so bare with the imperfection.

Here are some small maps for you, courtesy of my son Nick . . .
