Glenwood to Ceder Lake

My bride Christi and I went out photographing. We started in Glenwood at the North Woods, then traveled to Ceder Lake to photograph around Lemon Lake. I also took a couple photographs between.

At any time of a day you will see things differently. Obviously the same goes with location. As we drove place to place, and walked around here to there, the areas were rightfully different. New to the eye, to the day, to the second. That is what makes life an experience of joy.

Please enjoy the photographs I took. Make that connection in your life, whether it be your own experience, or for seeing my photograph for the first time.

The next three photographs were taken with different "in camera" effects.

Microlon Drive

Bubba and I took the car out for a drive after adding Microlon to the oil system. We had to drive around for about an hour. So it was prudent to take the camera for just in case. Here is what we found . . .

Bubba likes other animals, with the exception of dogs and cats. All of the cows came over to the cow to greet him. (Bubba was too anxious for me to let him out of the car.)

P.S.  I have now added Microlon to my second car, the one I drive. I heard and felt the change in the engine for the good. 10/15/2018.

Dollinger Family Farm 2017

People come to Indiana to see the farms, barns, orchards, however I found this place, the Dollinger Family Farm in Chanahon, IL, to be better than anything I have gone to in Indiana.

My bride Christi and I took the trip out there for the first time, without Bubba, because I wanted to see the Eagle that S.O.A.R. (save our American raptors) was going to show. I had not been close to an eagle before. This eagle is names Deshka, and is from Alaska. Because she was injured early, she did not grow up to be as big as other Alaskan eagles.

You can find out more on Christi's blog by clicking here.

This little guy was fascinated with the drain pipe going under the road.

The owl was cool, in that this is Dickens the owl used in promotional posters for Harry Potter.

Lots for the kids to do, including a petting farm that I did not photograph. I think Bubba would have had fun there. Perhaps next time we will take him.

This old tractor was cool, and from what I can tell fully functional.

For this time of the year, they had a corn maze that many took advantage of.
