Oh What A Night: A 60's Musical Experience

Oh What A Night! This evening was superb in every way. It all started when I went to MCL Chicago, to see two improvs. The first was "Oh What A Night: A 60's Musical Experience". And was it!

If you have read my improv blogs, you know how thrilled I am when I go see one. Tonight just set the high bar for all others to compete against. The energy from the ensemble(s) this evening was incredible. This improv filled the house. I see why. Great vocal and story line.

From your South Side Chicago pizza, to the lights of the big stage, this ensemble music imrovs their way, with audience suggestions, into a engaging story. They (the improvs) fill the venue in all directions. This makes you a part of the story, and Chicago.

I loved the individual characters. Each vocal well done to fit the character. I still remember each of them, giving credit to their performance.

The cast this evening, in no particular order . . .

Jean Bonavita

Thomas Wynne

Mark Rudy

Jake Meyer

Michael Silver

Kathleen Gibson

Here are some photos for you to enjoy . . .

What is nice, is how this story includes Chicago. In this next photo, Dick Biondi is portrayed.
