Went to see/listen to the boys this afternoon at "Songs from the Falls", Northwoods Falls. What a treat. Pete and Daryl are on their game. Enough said. Here are the photographs.
We strive for stories to tell. Perhaps in search of one that has never been told. Photography is one way to communicate that story. I hope my photographs and writing help to stir up that emotion of storytelling, allowing you to dream of the possibilities. (You can click on the photos to enlarge for viewing.)

Sunrise Greenhouse
I took another trip to Sunrise Greenhouse located in Grant Park, Illinois. One of the largest greenhouses, if not the largest, in our area.
I went to pick up some odds and ends, and of course if something happened to land itself in my cart I would take it home.
Sunrise Greenhouse was featured on WGN channel 9 recently, and they have had commercials on television as well. It worked! I was expecting to see at least 40% of their hanging baskets still there. Not! Perhaps only 10% left. Lots of other delights were sold too. Good for them, not so good for me, though I only has one item that I did not go there to get in my cart this time (candy corn vines).
Here are a couple photographs. Enjoy!

Rock Your Bra Off 14
Ten hours of music for just a $10 donation. I had never seen Mallrats and had wanted to for some time now. This was my chance. Well worth the money. They were kick ass good.
Oh, wait. This is not why we are here. The music draws us in. The reason is close to our hearts. This is Rock Your Bra Off 14, our NWI annual music benefit for breast cancer research.
So, $10 is the suggested donation. I say, add another zero. This benefit is important to all of us.
The bands this evening:
Mallrats (2-3)
Hoosier Ditty (3:30-4:30)
Rockology Chicago (5-6)
Dave & Dave (6:30-7:30)
Troublemaker (8-9)
History's End (9:30-10:30)
Chronic Flannel (11-12)
Here are some photographs up to some of Rockology Chicago. Had to leave to take care of the dog. The Bride took over with photography.
