I have often stated that Hammond, once again, needs to be the center for NW Indiana. I know for sure that this corner of Hammond, 489 Fayette St., is the center for Hammond Monday evenings during the summer and early fall. A place to hang, enjoy, socialize, a place to be inclusive.
This evening there was a raffle of art, with the money going toward signage and the like to help support awareness of the Towle Theater and Paul Henry's. Over $700 was raised at this event. Guess who now owns the wonderful mirror!!!
I have no recollection of what the bride was doing at this moment. Most likely singing to a song being played by the DJ.
