Party Anthem at Blue Chip Casino

My bride Christi and I have been following Party Anthem for about 9 months now. Christi first saw them compete in "The One" band competition at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park. Christi had gone there to support another band (and photograph) in the competition, and came home that evening to tell me all about Party Anthem.

I then went to see and photograph "The One", and decided then that the band Christi went to see, and Party Anthem, would be my top two picks. I supported them then on, and still do today.

Party Anthem covers the top hits, which are ever changing. So it does take skill to learn new music and to play it, giving respect to the original artist, and to themselves. They do it well! They can power out energy when they need to, and give you a change-up to make it interesting.

This evening I keyboards on stage that I had not seen before, and a drum up front. The keyboards gave the music depth and added another vocal to the band. The drum up front, when later used, put a different energy into the crowd. Oh, forgot to mention. Party Anthem (who hails out of the Milwaukee area) played at the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City this evening!

Here are the band members . . .

Zak - Vocals

Alex - Guitar / Vocal

Jake - Piano / Synth / Vocal

Marshall - Bass / Vocal

Richard - Drums

Here are the photos from the evening. Enjoy!

Christi and I stayed for their first set then left. Knowing these guys, the night got better.

  1. I love following local bands and your photos are incredible! I feel like I was actually at the casino. The drums up front?! Are you kidding me?! That must’ve been incredible to see. I never saw a band play that way. Must’ve put a whole different vibe on the set. Thanks for the tip on these guys, I’ll have to check them out.

  2. I first saw/heard them at 118 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park, IL. They were competing in the battle of the bands there, and came in second place. They have a lot of energy and do a very good job at entertaining. I hope you have the chance to see them some time.
