Pierogi Fest Friday

My bride Christi and I had a fun and relaxing time at Pierogi Fest on Friday. Sort of the calm before the storm, both people and weather wise.

We arrived at 10:30 a.m. and were able to walk around without the crowd, and sample a lot of food. After 11:00 a.m. that all seemed to change, as the street filled in with more people. Later that afternoon we had a brief shower. A couple hours later, a big long shower that soaked us, so we called it quits and went back home to dry out and warm up.

Here are some photos of the day, before we went home. Enjoy!

I ate a whole lot of food from this vendor . . .

This was early in the day, when they played the National Anthem over the PA. This couple stopped, locked arms, and remained there for the anthem. A perfect American couple I would say.

I have to give the dog credit for staying out of the sun . . .

I do not remember seeing this sign last year . . .
