Wes' Excellent Adventure IX

An excellent adventure because I was picking up my hippie dog Bubba from the hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. The trip goes down new Rt. 30, where in Donaldson between the new and old Rt. 30 there is an art / museum / archaeology scene that everyone passes. I have stopped in the past to take photographs, though they never came out to my liking. This day, I did better.

You sure cannot beat the view from their house. I could get into stepping outside with my coffee every morning, even with the highway there.

The photo below appears to have a large stuffed dog at the wheel. Perhaps our beloved Snoopy!

It pays to photograph and enlarge. I never caught this one before either, just like I had missed Snoopy. There is a guy in the outhouse on his tippy toes taking a leak.

Then there was a doe and baby that decided to travel through.

One small leap for deer, one large leap for mankind (other than Michael "Air" Jordan) (baby still running in grass to the left).

Tall grass . . . there is a deer head popping out just above the hood ornament area of the car.

Meanwhile, further down the road on Rt. 30, somewhere Indiana, there is a homemade vehicle . . . shades of Mad Max, or you have entered the twilight zone. If you are not on a Harley, better exit off the premises!
