Flossmoor's 100th Birthday

I attended Flossmoor's 100th birthday this day to photograph the Deep River Grinders play a vintage game. It was a quick add to their schedule, and Flossmoor was one of my stomping grounds growing up (went to high school there).

I arrived early to get a parking spot. Glad I did that. However, I was not feeling well for some reason so I left pretty early and did not see / photograph the game. (As it turned out, I passed kidney stones the next day, which was why I was not feeling well this day.)

Still, I did photographs some cars, and the kids from "Matilda Jr." that opens July 12th. They started the evening off singing our national anthem, and introduced the Mayor of Flossmoor, Michelle Nelson.

Enjoy!

Sort of whish I was able to stay for the finale, a drown show. Check it out (click here).
