Auburn Museum

Wow, the best museum of pristine vehicles that I have ever seen. And, I did not know that prior to WWI, Auburn was home to eight (8) automobile manufacturers. This was the car hub of the United States.

I came to town for a hippie fest, and while I was there, I took in this museum. I only had an hour to do so, which meant I did not have the chance to look at everything, which is okay. I need to bring my bride back to see the museum, then I can spend more time.

This is an Auburn Cord Duesenberg automobile museum, plus more. There are over 120 cars on exhibit. You can read about the engineering, the racing, and contributions made to history e.g. aviation. I suspect if I were to really get into this museum, it would be a two day event, perhaps even three, only because I love the history of design and manufacture which there is plenty of here.

I cannot write enough about this museum until I spend more than an hour here. Take in some of of my photographs and go visit!!!
