The Robots played the last Saturday before Halloween at the V.I.P. Lounge, in Griffith. That is an 8 minute walk from my house, so I had to go!
The Robots were all dressed up. Bob Sherman as Doc Brown, Pete Calacci as Wayne, Eddie Fell as Garth, and Danny Mac as, oh, okay I do not know my monsters. Many other people at the V.I.P. Lounge were dressed in Halloween costumes too. There was also a costume contest later in the evening. Lots of people on the floor dancing, whether to the music of The Robots, or between their sets from the house.
I really enjoyed how The Robots set list as well. Though I enjoy when they play more Cream, Santana, Who, Doors, and Tull, they showed their huge depth in variety tonight. The vocals were strong. The sound board was strong. They hit it hard.
Here are photos from the evening.
