I have always liked Groundhog day. This year was pretty cool because I went to see Mark Mybeck and Joshua McCormack play at Finnegans Pub in Dyer. Again, they were pretty cool, listening to them on acoustic guitars, with Joshua switching back and forth on his electric.
You want to see uniqueness in a band that draws you in. These guys do just that. They have a mix of written songs and covers. They have their own rhythm harmony when it requires, their own personal "voice" that is telling us a story. You do feel like a child at times, sitting there, just listening with amazement.
Here are some photos of the evening . . .
When you get a chance, go check these guys out.
