This is an event not to miss. (This was the 6th Annual.) Each time I come I grow a new appreciation for those who exhibit and participate. Everyone is so polite, each wanting to enhance your personal experience. Over 3,200 people visited with 100 exhibitors on deck. Comics of all type, of any superhero, and sci-fi fantasy!
This year my heart went out to the writers and artists. Looking at their product, one can see the talent and long hours put into it. Each very different. They pour their heart out into their work, and are eager to see your face light up when you look at it. This is also a very family friendly event. Lots of children cosplay, showing off their skills.
There are lots of photos in this blog. So plan on being here a while, or make time to come back. The people who put this together for us (Brian & Kelly Grabinski and staff), the exhibitors, the sponsors who donate, and the attendees who participate in costume are all warrant of your time.
The first few photographs are before the doors opened. Enjoy!

That's me as "Wolfgang the Hippie Werewolf of Halloween" coming out of early hibernation for Comic-Con, holding the sign "Rock on at NWI Comic-Con...." and "Peace, love, and cosplaying". Couldn't get enough of the Banana Splits and so many of my other favorites from that era when I was growing up lol Even though I can't help it if I'm old-school, I still had quite a BLAST like you wouldn't believe ☺
