This play is cool, funny, very well acted and directed, and super well written as "Cheerfully desecrating the stories of Sir Arthur Connan Doyle". Apartment 2B, and "don't call me Shirley, call me Sherlock" sets the pace and fun. Well, all of it at the beginning sets the pace and fun, and did I say I love the actors? I do! Such a superb performance!!!
There were so many liberties taken with this play, yet it felt so natural in a cross-time and technology setting. You felt it was the real thing, Holmes and Watson. The set well supported the play, along with the lighting to separate location.
I have photographed a couple of these actors before at Towle. I had a blast this time with their expressions that were on point, and could only come about because of the entire cast and the directing. So fun.
