Howard & Sons . . . Munster IN

I have always enjoyed steak. When I was a kid my mom cooked it for us once and a while, and I ate it.  That was an accomplishment for her because I did not eat much at the supper table. When I was old enough to cook I tried cooking steak, but it never was like what mom cooked. After leaving home I found I had to go to fancy restaurants to get a good steak. Later in life Outback and the like started to pop up, and Outback became my favorite . . . all because I could not cook a steak. Well, I am now here to tell you, it is not the cook, it is the meat you are cooking!

Ever since I can remember my mom driving down Ridge Road I had seen the big Cow on the building and wondered what it was for. It wasn't until a few years ago when I became tired of going out to restaurants for a steak, and what I thought was bad cooking at home, that I decided to visit Howard & Sons.

Let us jump to the end of the story. The steaks I cook today taste better than going to Outback! Once and a while my son and I will go out to a restaurant like Outback or Texas Coral to have a steak, just because we do not want to cook. However, It seems to be a slight let down now after cooking the steaks we buy from Howard & Sons.

My son likes the New York Strip and I like the Ribeye. There are two different cuts, regular and thick. We go for the thick. We've bought the pre-made burger patties along with the all beef hot dogs for cookouts, and everyone loves them.

If I were to ever cheat on someone, it would have to be on myself, and with a steak from Howard & Sons!
