We strive for stories to tell. Perhaps in search of one that has never been told. Photography is one way to communicate that story. I hope my photographs and writing help to stir up that emotion of storytelling, allowing you to dream of the possibilities. (You can click on the photos to enlarge for viewing.)

The Three Horsemen 3/20/22
Maple Syrup Time at Deep River County Part 3/20/22
The day started out with good intent, to be at the Deep River County Park at 10 AM for the "Maple Syrup Time" at the park. Well, the Doc switched my blood pressure med, and today was the first day taking it. Needless to say I was down for the count to recover, then finally made it out of the house at 11:30 am. When I arrived at the park around noon, there was a line of cars waiting to get in, and a line waiting to get out, and me, well sitting in line thinking this is the worst of times you can pick during the day to photograph outdoors. Way to much contrast.
However, this was a beautiful day for the first day of spring. I took it slow so that I could listen to my music (well, others music) with the window down. I made all the green lights down Rt. 30 without thought. When I made it into the parking lot of Deep River Park, I immediately drove to the back because that was the shortest walk to where I was going, and immediately saw an open space to park, without any other car around to challenge me for the spot. So what started out on the wrong track ended up on the right track today.

Andrew Scott Denlinger @ 313 Taproom 3/19/22
My first time at 313 Taproom in Munster. A nice quaint place. Self serve taps which I had never seen before. No, you do not get free beer.
What brought me out this evening was an add on Facebook for Andrew Scott Denlinger doing a solo acoustic show at 313. Okay, perhaps that did not grab my attention as much as the VW Bus in the advertisement. Then I took a look at his website, saw the real VW Bus, and hear the band play. Lets just say I became interested.
I have to write that Andrew is a great vocalist. His vocals are strong, good range, can sing with intensity when called for, and can bring it down to softly lure the women in. An American-Rock artist as he put it, with a range in genres of music. Though when he did a Nirvana song, that hit me as being his wheelhouse.
Here are some photographs of the evening. I recommend finding him in his solo act, or with the band.
