My first Punk show, and I loved it. The people were super nice. Very kind and considerate. They were enjoying themselves. I think my "old man" look threw them off, or perhaps just the first time seeing me. One lady came up to check out my Peace Sign art that I bought from Carol Estes (and she pinned it on my camera strap). She loved my hat. She liked the vibe I put together. Had to tell her this is the only vibe I've got (sort of taking from Top Gun Maverick, 'It's the only face I've got) . . . it's my daily wear. This lady was also having the most fun tonight from what I saw. She reminded me of, well . . . me, and how I get into the music and jam.
I want to do this again. I had fun, enjoyed their energy, kindness, and their super good natured attitude. I don't know how many of you have seen the movie "Hackers". The scene where the FBI agent was at the party in the house, walking through, looking around, getting loose and dancing with the crowd. That was pretty much me with this crowd. Just vibe'n in the moment.
Here are some photographs of the evening. Enjoy!
Siri Sunshine and the Moonshiners
This drummer is the best. I want to go see him play again . . . he had it together.
