"Snooty Pageant is a musical sketch review written and performed by Katie Dufrense and Stacey Smith." - Facebook
"The two tackle themes such as love, war, poverty, and politics through a woman’s eyes as if she were drugged and/or desperate. Utilizing music, clowning, costumes, make up, great hair, rapping, bad hair, food, dancing, noises, instruments and, if allowed, extreme pyrotechnics. Please note: No pyrotechnics will actually be used. But bad hair definitely will be." - Facebook
Stacey seemed to get knocked around a lot in this scene. Below she was smacked in the face by Katie (acting) . . .
Now, for the famous blonde pageant girl wrestling an alligator scene . . . (at least I am calling if famous!) . . .
Now, for the best pageant beer shooter in the Midwest . . . again, if I had only known . . .
There is a lot of variety in this show. That is what makes it so fun. This next scene was cool. Not because how it was setup with the lighting. The bits of dialogue with space . . .
Things seemed to start off smooth, then all hell seemed to break loose with the sports scene . . . another one to laugh at and write home about . . .
These spots, fillers, took your mind off the pace. Like reeling you in then letting you go. With humor!
Pageant girl gone crazy . . .
Theater is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you will get. However, each is always good in it's entirety, space, time. Snooty Pageant was a wonderful experience for me. Love these gals! Thank you Stacey for inviting me!!!!

These two ladies impressed me. I was taken away by their crisp hitting and funny act. These ladies have fun on stage. They try not to laugh at themselves. They get so wrapped up with energy, that at one point during the skit Katie had to ask Stacey, "Do you have a question for me?" to get them back on track.
Very well written and executed. My favorite scenes were the beer drinking, alligator wrestling, and the sports uniforms. Well, take that back. I am now remembering all the other scenes. They were all great!!! Take a look at what you missed . . .
