Bristol Renaissance Faire

My bride Christi and I went up to the Bristol Renaissance Faire to check it out. The last time I was there was in 1983. Wow, a lot has changed. One would expect. Like most events/venues it has gone a bit commercial. I remember it being all open (no real boundaries), tents, few structures, and a lot of people dressed and acting. Same today, with the added shops, land, and many more people.

Here are some photos for you to enjoy! If you go, we do recommend you buy your tickets at Walgreens to get the discount. Given the typical heat of the day, pay for the parking too!

Lots for kids to do, including jousting!

This is where we purchased our mugs for Doctor Who and Harry Potter.

This is what it looks like when the theater lets out.
