Killer Queen

Tonight my bride Christi and I saw Killer Queen at the Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville, IN. This is the UK's tribute band with Patrick Meyers as Freddy Mercury. You can find out more about the band by clicking here.

Growing up in the 70's was fun, and music from Queen was a big part of that. I never attended one of their concerts, and wished I did. With Killer Queen, my back was against the wall, as far back as one could go, photographing. Christi and I were given the opportunity to move up, but declined. One reason because we could stand up and dance the entire evening. Second, it was thrilling to see the audience in front while photographing. It helped to frame the picture of what it was like back in the day.

Here are some photos from the evening. Enjoy!
