"Slow Food" - A Comedy by Wendy MacLeod
This play opens with more than a long awkward pause. It opens your experiences. If you had anything like this happen to you, you felt like your were looking at yourself and wanted to squirm from the discomfort. It made me uncomfortable anyway. Who wants to look at themselves?
Just as service can start out by ruining your mood, that same service, with some positive attitude applied, can turn around. How often do we not do that? I have found in my older age I do it a lot more and it does work.
This play is very well written around three characters. It is funny. It makes you wonder. The cast is very special. They do a very very good job in their roles. So seamless, so real. I loved all three of them. The end, well super special. Go see!!!
