I found out that Calumet College of St. Joseph, Whiting, IN, was hosting a free admission show for pop-culture and comic art. I was very happy to see Chris Guzman's work with his boxing gloves on display, and other fellow followers of Paul Henry's Art Gallery there, like Mary LeVan and Rick Therrio. Our region is full of talent, and people wanting to go see it.
What is really cool, is that there will be a NWI Commic-Con February 21st, at the Halls of St. George, in Schererville, IN. This one is large, great for cosplay, and a very affordable price for admission. For more information go check out their FB page by clicking "here". You can see a vid on last years event by clicking "here".
