Griffith Central Market 6/12/15

It was a rainy day, grey skies and all. The Griffith Central Market is open rain or shine. This evening we saw fewer vendors, however, the spirit was still there. People enjoying themselves on this cool, cloudy, and later rainy, evening.

This evening we had the pleasure of listening to The Hunnymooners, with Christine Mikulskis and Frank Canino. These two engaged sweethearts sent us through the 1950's with their music. I first met Christine at Paul Henry's Art Gallery in Hammond, singing acoustic solo. Later I was able to photograph her in a play "The Haunting of Hill House" at Beatnik's in Hammond. Later, Christine volunteered for my photo project to showcase the paint spots on the Paul Henry's Art Gallery floor. So I was super happy to see her again, and to listen to her sing.

The Griffith Central Market is every Friday through the end of October, so come visit, relax, eat, and get to know our vendors who support us. (The vendor list is from last year. I still need to add the new vendors for this year. Thanks to all our vendor, current, past, and future, who help make this event so enjoyable!)
