Rock 'N' Rail Fest Day 2

Day 2 of the Rock 'N' Rail Festival . . . Friday! Right after I came home from work my bride Christi and I headed out to the festival because we wanted to see Dave and Dave play on stage. I first heard them last year, at the Western Day's festival in Griffith, and have been following them since. Here are their photos.

For Day 1 photos you can click "here". For Day 3 photos you can click "here".

The Griffith Indiana Animal Control has another dog there looking for a home. Such a loving animal doing it's best to find a home for itself. (Lots of doggie kisses going around.)

The Griffith Firefighters Association was sponsoring the Car & Motorcycle show, giving out trophies. Lot of good looking vehicles here. Many more than last year! Can anyone guess what the most popular color is for these cars?

Next on the main stage was Wise Guys. I had heard of them and saw them for the first time last year. What was a treat was seeing our friend Chris Wander play keyboards! You can catch more of them on Facebook by clicking "here".

Next up on the main stage was the Chicago Six, starring the Chicago Bears Superbowl champions Dan Hampton, Otis Wilson and Steve McMichael. You can catch them on Facebook by clicking "here".

The Chicago 6 are very entertaining, so go see them when you get the chance. They did very well to warm us up to the next band, Echos of Pompeii Pink Floyd Tribute band. Christi has been trying to get me to see them for a long time. Tonight was the night. This is a show peeps. One you do not want to ever miss. The music puts you in a place of peace, wonderment. It is a theatrical performance that you have to see in person. I have a ton of photos to show you, more than I am including in this blog. I hope you get the feel, and the need for some Echos of Pompeii in your life. To get more information check out their Facebook page by clicking "here".

Also, a special thanks to the sound crew and lighting crew for this night.  All went superbly well.
