Julie Miller Art

So, I did a thing today. I picked up some art I bought (laid claim to when I saw it) from Gary Price at The Edge Coffee House in Crete, Illinois. In doing so I met my friend Julie Miller who had her first ever solo art exhibit, and this day was her opening. So double the pleasure.

I had been to The Edge Coffee House once before, early in the years when they started showcasing local art. I remembered thinking this was a cool establishment. Today I think of it as a really cool establishment. It has the vibe. Makes you want to live next door.

Obviously I had to take some photographs of Julie's work to show you, along with what The Edge Coffee House looks like. Sometimes you never know what is there. Sometimes you are just curious as to what is inside. Sometimes you are just too timid to try. I hope these photographs will entice you to go to The Edge Coffee House, and more so to see Julie Miller Art.

Remember too, buy local, support the arts!

As I walked around to the back room to look at more of her art, Vincent Van Gogh popped into my head. Julie's work carried me to a time of Vincent that was very pleasing.
