So much sensory input. So much joy. An overwhelming feeling of "I belong here". It opened my imagination to possibilities in thought, writing, photography, of what I want, and how I want to dream. Things that dreams are made of that could and can come true. Is it the magic? No, for me it is the emotions that come with "what if". It is loosing yourself in a spiritual drama. In this case taking part in real life, putting your self in the actual story.
This event is outdoor, so dress appropriately. This is a bushland hiking trail, meaning the pathway is not hard surfaced on the main trail. I have seen a lot of wagons being pulled. I had not seen anyone in a wheelchair yet, though I think it would be possible to navigate with some help. Remember, this is at night.
The Experience is interactive. If you have a wand Bring It! Not everything requires a wand, and there is one interactive where they loan you two wands (special design) so that you can do some magic dual against each other. If you do not have a wand and really want that experience at the last minute, you can buy a wand from their shop that illuminates at the tip. Pretty cool. We bought one and added to our collection!
There is food available, and Butter Beer!!!! Everything is cashless, so bring your credit card or tap phone.
What is super nice, is my Bride not needing to work, and spending a lot of time with me on these spare of the moment excursions. We both like Harry Potter, my Bride more so at the beginning than me. Now I feel I have caught up to her passion which now makes it more enjoyable for the two of us. I am ready for my third trip. Any takers?
Enjoy the photographs. The first couple were taken about 4:30sh PM. By the time they open at 5:00, the sun is down for you to really, I mean really, enjoy the Experience.
P.S. I purposely take short video clips so that you can get a "taste" of what the Experience was like. You DO need to Experience the entire forest yourself. As of 11/26/2025 I am waiting on YouTube to allow me to add more videos. Probably tomorrow.
There are embossing stations sprinkled through the journey that I did not see the first time I was there. If you have a field guide you can emboss it, or find a piece of paper of your own. I thought they were pretty cool.
Buy some marshmallows there and heat them over a fire!
I really liked these audio book nooks. Very cozy inside. You can select a story to listen to and just glide away with the audio. I want one!!!
