Swashbuckler Weekend - Renaissance Faire

This was the swashbuckler weekend at the Bristol Renaissance Faire. Though, anything goes. Cosplay all you want, in theme if you want.

This would be the 4th time my bride and I made it to the Renaissance Faire. (One of those times was to buy, and not take photos.) You will find links to the blogs for two of those times at the end of this blog. I have to say, each time was different and special. I am glad we went this year. It was a change in our life that will be remembered.

If you have never been to this faire, I do suggest you make some time to go next year. There is a warmth here, in spirit, that you do not want to miss out on. All do to the actors and supporting people who work the faire. Do not feel like you have to see everything in one day. I do not think that is possible without wearing yourself out. If you like it, come back and take in more.

Here are the photos for this Saturday. Enjoy!

We went to the Mud Show this time. There are a lot of shows that go on. We keep finding ourselves entranced with all that goes on that we do not remember to stop and see the shows. This one was funny!

Christi went up to bribe the judge . . . you really need to see the show to understand.

As Christi slyly put the wadded up money in the hat, the judge bent his nose with his finger and said to here, "You've been in court before."
