Downtown Hammond's Monday Blues Cruise 7/15/24

You have to love music, automobiles, and community to appreciate this weekly event. This Blues Cruise is a combination of that and takes place every Monday evening starting at 5:00 PM, at 489 Fayette street, Hammond, Indiana.

Community diehards come with their form of transportation, from vehicles to motorcycles, scooters, and bicycles. They own it, they appreciate it, they want to share with you what is part of them.

Just down the street of the car show is Paul Henry's Art Gallery. There on this same evening you can listen to some live blues music. The blues nostalgia ties you back into these older automobiles. They can compliment each other. They both help you to feel what it is, what it is all about.

Besides music at Paul Henry's Art Gallery there is of course art from local talent. NW Indiana is just dripping with it. At the opposite corner of the parking lot of Paul Henry's is Substation No.9 where you can find more art. Remember, all of this art is for sale.

It takes passion to want to do all of this. It takes passion to want it come together. It takes passion for it to continue. The transportation enthusiasts, the artists, the organizers (thank you Aubrey), and this photographer step forward on a continual basis to bring this to you, the public. What we need is you, the public, to keep us inspired to create, to bring out our modes of transportation. Please, come and enjoy. It would put a smile on our face.

Come on out, see the automobiles (actually, anything with wheels), stroll down the street to listen to some music at Paul Henry's, and check out the art at Paul Henry's and Substation No.9. Enjoy what the Community has to offer!

Enter at 489 Fayette St
(Fayette and Oakley)

General public parking is along the side streets or up by Paul Henry's. Car show parking is on Fayette Street.
